WHAT WE OFFER

Networking

Connection is key to the Pastoral Ministry Network. The opportunity to connect with others enables sharing of ideas, strengthens relationships and supports colleagues in affirming their work or when challenges arise.
The Pastoral Ministry Network connects individuals involved in pastoral ministry and ecclesial agencies including faith communities, parishes, dioceses, nationally and internationally through its annual Conference, themed gatherings and networking hubs.

Resourcing

Learning is integral to everything we do. The Pastoral Ministry Network Virtual Resource Library offers resources for your own growth or for use in communities. The library includes both video and printed material. The growing video library houses workshops from the Alive in the Spirit Conference, Oceania Pastoral Ministry Webinars, and Prayer Experiences for communities. We showcase books that are available for borrowing and articles and documents relevant to pastoral ministry.

Communication

Effective Communication is key to any organisation, family and community. The Pastoral Ministry Network will keep in contact with you every month via its newsletter keeping you informed of ways to engage with others in pastoral ministry. Resources are highlighted and there will be a focus on communities and individuals sharing their story about what is working for them in this area.

Advocacy

The Pastoral Ministry Network values its relationships with key bodies in our Catholic Church and beyond, often working in partnership supporting a variety of projects.
You are always welcome to contact the Pastoral Ministry Network if there is a way that the team or others in Pastoral Ministry can support you. The Network can refer you to specialised organisations to assist with particular enquiries.

Accreditation

The Pastoral Ministry Network is developing relationships with formation and training providers to offer accredited courses for Pastoral Ministry. Accreditation provides recognised validation for this important area of ministry as well as personal learning and growth.
